JEE Main 2017 – Important Dates


JEE Main 2017 Overview:

JEE Main (Joint Entrance Examination) 2017 will be conducted by CBSE Board.  JEE is a two tier examination called JEE Main and JEE Advanced. The aspirants those who want get admission in B.Tech/B.Arch courses can apply. NITs, IIITs and other institutions offer engineering courses by considering JEE Main examination score for admission purpose and while IITs provide the courses through the JEE Advanced exam.

When any candidates appears JEE Advanced, their JEE main score will be consider as eligible criteria.

Online Application for JEE Main 2017 has been closed now, but the application form correction process has been started from 25th Jan’2017 and last date is 3rd Feb’2017.

JEE Main 2017 – Eligibility Criteria:

Date of Birth:

  • The candidates those who have born on or after 01 Oct’1992 can apply JEE Main 2017.
  • 5 years will be given of relaxation age for the candidates belongs to PwD (Persons with Disabilities), SC / ST category who have born on or after 01 Oct’ 1987.

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates must have passed 12th or its equivalent examination with five subjects in the year of either 2015 or 2016.
  • Candidates those who are appearing 12th or its equivalent examination in 2017 can also apply.
  • of attempts to appear exam is limited to three only.

Admit card can be available from 2nd week of March, 2017
Examination (Paper 1 & 2) gets conducted on 2nd April, 2017
Exam date (Computer based exam) 8th and 9th April, 2017
Answer Key and OMR sheets will be displayed 18th to 20th April, 2017
Challenge against the answer keys will be accepted from 4th week of April, 2017
Result will be released from 27th April, 2017
All India Ranks will be declared from 27th May, 2017
Rank card will be available from After release of AIRs

JEE Main 2017 -Exam Pattern:

  • The examination consists of two papers

 Paper 1:  Offer admissions for B.E/B.Tech programs (both online and offline mode)

Paper 1: Objective questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

JEE Main 2017 – Admit Card:

The admit card is available on official website on 2nd week of March, 2017. The candidates must keep the admit card while entering the exam.
